Mrs. Hajara Adeola

Hajara Adeola is the Chairman of Lotus Bank Limited, a fully-fledged non–interest bank, and the Managing Director of Lotus Capital Limited, a leading Islamic asset management company in Nigeria. She has decades of local and international experience in Islamic finance and capital market, investment management, securities issuances, research and analysis, and investment advisory. Hajara holds an M.Sc in Finance with specialization in Islamic Finance and an MBA in International Management She is a West African Fellow of the Aspen Leadership Initiative. She is the first President of the Fund Manager’s Association of Nigeria(FMAN), and the Chairperson of the Securities & Exchange Commission’sNon–Interest Capital Market 10-year Master Plan Implementation Committee. She also chairs the FMDQ OTC Debt Capital Markets HousingSub–Co and the NGX Fixed Income Products Advisory Committee.
